Elliot Museum for Young and Old
Fine art instruction and workshops for 5 to 16 year olds are being offered at Summer Art Camp at the Studio at the Elliott Museum for all levels and mediums. The Elliott also is featuring "The Art of the Picture Book", a whimsical and thought-provoking exhibit by noted children's book illustrator and author Janeen Mason, though September 28th. Crafts for Kids are being offered July 28th and July 29th from 10-12 noon and 2-4pm for ages 4-12. Cost is $5 per child accompanied by paid adult. National Marina Day
August 9th 2008, from 10am until 4pm. Join Marinas across America celebrate "National Marina Day" at Harborage Yacht Club & Marina. There will be over 70 boats on display in the water, a display by Maritime & Yacht Museum and a tour of the Harborage Yacht Club. Plus much more!
A success for many years, Dancin in the Street has brought thousands upon thousands of Treasure Coast residents and visitors to Stuarts charming and historic downtown area to experience all the fabulous shopping, fine dining and entertainment that this unique riverfront district has to offer. The Treasure Coasts largest music festival only happens once a year and should not be missed. This big summer event tradition is a family affair featuring seven musical stages and over five straight hours of great music, food and childrens entertainment. The Kidz Zone will once again be along SW Flagler Avenue and will feature live entertainment by Brother Judah, rides, clowns, face painting and pony rides.
$10 for adults and children under 12 are FREE. All proceeds go to Stuart Main Street and its programs. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted without an adult or guardian.
