Port Salerno Seafood Festival Saturday, January 30, 2010 10 am Port Salerno is the quintessential fishing community. The history of Port Salerno is intertwined with commercial fishing that is still taking place from the docks in historic Port Salerno. Every year families would gather together for a community fish fry down by the waterfront. In 2006, a small group gathered to explore the possibility taking the yearly fish fry to the next level and bring positive awareness to a community in the midst of redevelopment. |
