Help us protect the environment and keep your nature base destination clean:

  • Do not touch, tamper or destroy live coral and marine life
  • Do not disregard waist (trash or garbage)
  • Do not feed wildlife including alligators, birds, marine life
  • Be aware of water and electric usage in your accommodation or camp grounds

Attention Boaters – Florida manatees and marine Life need your help 

  • Boat speed regulations have been established to reduce the chance of manatees being hit by boaters.
  • If you witness dead or injured manatees or other marine or wild life please contact authorities

Martin County is one of the safest destinations in South Florida; however we encourage practicing the following safety rules:

  • Be sure to carry your keys, credit cards and cell phone on you and in a dry and safe compartment
  • Drink responsibly, don’t drink and drive for your safety as well as others
  • Look for life guards and signage when beaching

Stay healthy and make your experience enjoyable by using the following simple steps:

  • Use bug repellent, sun screen and be aware of possible allergies in select seasons
  • Remember to hydrate your body drink lots of water
  • Stay tuned with the weather and carry an umbrella or rain poncho in rainy season 
  • Stop by the Tourist Information Center for maps, guides and brochures
  • Most importantly don’t forget to have fun and bring your camera to capture your memories for years to come.
